The battery

The WobL watch is very energy efficient and a battery can last a long time.

The vibrating function of the watch consumes more power than normal watch functions. If the vibration function is used, the battery will last 2 to 4 months.

The watch uses a very common CR2032 battery which does not have to be expensive and is also easy to replace. This battery is for sale at many stores such as Blokker, Kruidvat, Albert Heijn, etc, but can also be ordered directly in the webshop.

There are also "unbranded" CR2032 batteries for sale. These are often a lot cheaper, but change strongly in quality. What often occurs with this type of battery is that the voltage that the battery emits at the beginning is neatly 3 volts, but quickly decreases as a result of which certain functions (such as the vibrating alarm) fail. In addition, it happens regularly that these batteries are already empty when they come out of the package. We recommend using a quality battery that will make you enjoy it for longer.

The CR2032 button cell battery from the brand GP is a high quality battery with the longest possible lifetime.

There are big differences between unbranded and CR2032 button cells from the well-known brands.

The batteries of the well-known brands must meet the specifications. Manufacturers of unbranded button cells often do not comply with these specifications.

The specifications indicate, among other things, that the voltage must be 3 volts and that this should not deviate too far. Furthermore, the voltage must remain above 3 volts until the end of the battery life. This is essential for using the vibration function of the WobL watch

Several tests have shown that the CR2032 of GP have the longest life.
